Job Title:             Operations Manager 

Location:             Chelmsford, MA


How you will make a difference:

Oversee the daily workings of manufacturing operations. Manage relationships with Contract Manufacturers, Distributors, Sub-Contractors and Suppliers. Plan, manage, and implement build and direct order fulfillment delivery schedules to ensure customer requirements and revenue plans are met. Maintain a high quality standard of product production and delivery.



  • Manage the growth and success of      the Supply Chain, Planning & Logistics team
  • Responsible for the production,      procurement, and planning of daily operations through remote contact      manufacturers
  • Participate in the development      and execution of the demand, cash flow and revenue plans
  • Communicate and interface with      all relevant competencies and contract Manufacturers to ensure delivery      times are met
  • Plan, schedule, and review      workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a      cost-effective basis
  • Manage the inventory levels to      ensure maximum availability at a minimal cost
  • Ensure the production team delivers      products based on customer requirements
  • Create a detailed build schedules      based on demand signals
  • Communicate any changes in the      order or delivery dates to relevant parties
  • Oversee purchasing of materials      and services required for production
  • Manage build plan changes to      minimize impact to customer deliveries
  • Organize, plan, and implement      best practices in regards to inventory activity


Qualifications & Experience

  • 10 years experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, and Logistics with a minimum of 5 years in a management/supervisory role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Business or related field required.  MBA a plus
  • Well-versed in MRP/ERP systems.  Microsoft NAV and Oracle a plus
  • Experience with ISO 9000
  • Experience leading process and system improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
  • Production and Planning Skills Required
  • Excellent Communication, verbal and written Skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including vendor relationship and negotiations.
  • Ability to work cross functionally, in a driven team environment
  • Must have strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lead and motivate
