Job Title:  Systems Test Engineer/Senior Systems Test Engineer

Location: Chelmsford, MA

How you will make a differenceYou will be supporting the development of mobile and robotic applications that control the Endeavor Robotics' Defense & Security Products.  In this role, you will join our team in creating world class designs for robotic systems targeted for the Defense and Security markets. The successful candidate will enjoy working with some of the best and brightest engineers, engaging in the analysis, design, documentation, testing and manufacturing of complex robotic systems. This position requires excellent technical capabilities and strong communication skills.



This role has the primary responsibility of preparing for and conducting system & subsystem testing of Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV). This position has a strong focus on requirements verification of new products and product modifications. The position is heavily hands-on while being immersed into the science and technology behind Endeavor's products.


The right candidate will:

  • Work with the Lead Engineers and other Systems Engineers on projects to develop risk driven test plans that align with the program schedules, goals, and budgets
  • Create test methods using system requirements as a guide
  • Write formal test plans, procedures, and reports for internal and government audiences
  • Conduct tests following procedural and/or verbal direction
  • Collect, analyze, and report on test data
  • Have proven experience in troubleshooting complex systems
  • Have excellent communication and observation skills
  • Assist engineers in tests and experiments
  • Build, setup, and operate test equipment & fixtures
  • Be willing to travel ~10%




  • BS in engineering or other technical degree is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in test and/or test development
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis
  • Familiarity using common lab equipment, including DMM, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with MIL-STD testing methods
  • Working on DoD program of records
  • Experience with DoD CDRLs
  • Electro-mechanical testing in the robotics field
  • Linux command line familiarity
  • Create test scripts in Python, C, etc.
